A great opportunity to work for a leading FMCG manufacturer as a Machine Operator / Production Operative on a modern, automated, and clean site in Tewkesbury. 12 week trial leading to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

PAY: from £12.60 - £13.17 per hour role dependent

HOURS: 37.5 per week 5 days over 7. Shift work - flexibility required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
* Running machinery/equipment to meet targets
* Quality checking the product
* Collecting data from the line and recording it accurately

* Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
* Packaging the product

* Conducts and adheres to cleaning and allergen control regimes
* Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.


PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a manufacturing/engineering/technical background but transferable skills are accepted. This is a great opportunity to gain more valuable experience in the industry.

* Good numeracy and literacy skills

* A committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail.

* IT Skills- Must be competent in the use of basic software.
