Key Responsibilities
- Interpret complex technical information from various sources to create clear, accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain technical publications, including theory of operations, troubleshooting guides, schematic diagrams, and installation procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to produce illustrative materials and ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct reviews, validate technical publications, and ensure compliance with industry standards and military specifications.
- Support technical publication development across maintenance, retrofit, and repair requirements.
We are looking for someone with:
- You have an ability to understand and interpret technical products to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Proven technical writing expertise with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proficiency in technical authoring tools and software.
- Experience in regulated environments, ideally within military or industrial sectors.
- Strong collaboration skills and an eagerness to work inclusively across teams to drive quality and precision.
- Background in Engineering, ideally an HND or above in Electronic Engineering.
- Familiarity with technical formats like Data Modules, Component Maintenance Manuals, and Interactive Electronic Technical Publications.
- Experience of working with recognised industry standard technical publishing software.
