Role Overview:
Join our Team as a Maintenance Support Technician. In this role, you will support the Shift Maintenance Engineer with preventative maintenance and deep cleaning of production machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the cleaning schedule to minimise production downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance as directed by Shift Maintenance Engineers.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene standards.
- Use correct materials, equipment, and methods, and report any faulty machinery immediately.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and colleagues.
- Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses, and complete necessary documentation.
- Complete all requisite documentation to the required standard.
- Contribute to the daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the department.
- Maintain high levels of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.
- Communicate clearly with team members and Team Leader.
- Use equipment correctly and safely.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good written and spoken English.
- Good dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools.
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Genuine desire to maintain and clean machinery.
- COSHH Awareness.
- Excellent attention to detail.
