Role Overview:
Join our Team as a Maintenance Support Technician. In this role, you will support the Shift Maintenance Engineer with preventative maintenance and deep cleaning of production machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the cleaning schedule to minimise production downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as directed by Shift Maintenance Engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene standards.
  • Use correct materials, equipment, and methods, and report any faulty machinery immediately.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Complete all requisite documentation to the required standard.
  • Contribute to the daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the department.
  • Maintain high levels of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and Team Leader.
  • Use equipment correctly and safely.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Genuine desire to maintain and clean machinery.
  • COSHH Awareness.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
