Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across all age groups, from early years to secondary education.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional help and guidance in both academic and social activities.
  • Assist in classroom management and maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.
  • Help prepare learning materials and resources under the guidance of teachers.
  • Provide support for students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to a full and inclusive learning experience.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and foster a nurturing, supportive atmosphere for all students.
  • Support extracurricular activities and school events when required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally across multiple age groups.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to the school's ethos and values.
