We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Financial Controller to join our clients dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. This position requires a strong background in financial management and proficiency in accounting software and will be reporting into the Financial Director.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
  • Utilise accounting software to streamline financial processes.

Experience

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CGMA/CPA
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  • 3 years auditing experience within large businesses
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP and OneStream) is essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
