My Thame based client is looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their team.

  • Reporting to the Transport Manager duties will include regular driving for their local palletised collect and deliver work.
  • You would be using the same vehicle and the same routes regularly but there will be a requirement of flexibility to support business needs.
  • There will also be an element of physical work when making some deliveries.
  • CPC Cat C qualification required with at least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
  • You will ensure all health and safety regulations are met and be proactive in ensuring your CPC training is up to date (paid for by our client).
  • Good communication skills will be expected, and any issues will need to be raised through the appropriate channels in a professional manner.

Working hours are 45 per week Monday to Friday. Hours 7.30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Contracted overtime Saturday mornings 7am - 1pm once per month.

Salary 30-35K depending on experience with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
