We are currently seeking a self-motivated, driven Credit Controller for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely payments of debts, handling overdue invoices and managing debt recovery.

Description

A Credit Controller's responsibilities:

  • Managing the timely collection of all debts and customer payments
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are cleared for payment
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
  • Processing and reconciliation of invoices
  • Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
  • Ensuring all transactions are compliant with the company's policies
  • Preparing monthly financial statements

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and debt collection
  • Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  • Superb communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software programs
