Job SummaryWe are looking to hire a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are made efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a flexible and proactive person with an eye for detail, used to working in a production environment.
Duties
- Operate and carry out basic checks on production machinery and equipment including our in-house mesh blackening plant
- Conduct routine inspections of product, equipment and process parameters
- Process components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilise automated equipment and hand tools effectively to process parts.
- Completing production and quality records
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide cover in a number of different areas according to business needs, including glass edging and inspection
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Dexterity in using hand tools and an eye for detail
- Good eyesight with or without glasses.
- Proactive, flexible and willing attitude
- Full training will be provided
Working hours: M-F 8am - 4pm.
37.5 hours a week. No weekends
