Job SummaryWe are looking to hire a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are made efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a flexible and proactive person with an eye for detail, used to working in a production environment.

Duties

  • Operate and carry out basic checks on production machinery and equipment including our in-house mesh blackening plant
  • Conduct routine inspections of product, equipment and process parameters
  • Process components according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilise automated equipment and hand tools effectively to process parts.
  • Completing production and quality records
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide cover in a number of different areas according to business needs, including glass edging and inspection

Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Dexterity in using hand tools and an eye for detail
  • Good eyesight with or without glasses.
  • Proactive, flexible and willing attitude
  • Full training will be provided

Working hours: M-F 8am - 4pm.

37.5 hours a week. No weekends
