Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Loading/Unloading: Support various warehouse activities, moving items efficiently while ensuring accuracy in packing and labelling for distribution.
  • Communication: Engage with team members and clients, responding to emails and calls to maintain smooth operations.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilise specific systems for managing manifests along with Microsoft applications to keep track of operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate closely with the transport team and stakeholders to enhance operational processes.
  • Scanning and Labelling: Ensure all pallets are accurately scanned and labelled for daily deliveries, escalating any issues promptly.
  • Health & Safety: Support the Transport Manager in adhering to Health & Safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Skills Required:

  • Friendly and courteous demeanour in customer interactions.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.
  • Strong team player with flexibility to adapt to various tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Current Counterbalance Forklift licence.
  • Previous transport or warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 am - 06:30 pm (with 1-hour lunch break).
  • Contracted Overtime: Saturday mornings (once a month): 5 am - 11 am.
