Pertemps Didcot are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for our established client based over in Thame.
Job Overview:
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HGV Class 1 Driver with experience of trunking work.
Working as an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be a professional delivery driver who will be part of a team working together and aiming high to deliver outstanding customer service every day.
Your role as an HGV Class 1 Driver will include:
- Completion of daily pre-use vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks
- Driving to hubs to be unloaded and do collections
- Legislative compliance, e.g. Tachograph and driving infringements, and including roadside authority checks, accident, near miss and hazard reporting
- Adherence to vehicle cleaning programme
- Use of pump truck/tail lift, forklifting when required
To be successful, you will require:
- Relevant, clean driving Licence
- In-date Tachograph and CPC card
- 1 year of experience in driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle
