A toy manufacturing company based in Hampton Court are on the lookout for a motivated and switched on Sales Account Executive to join their growing team.

The client is looking for someone provide sales support to their customers. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and be assisting the sales team with developing sales and communicating with customers to determine their needs and conducting research to identify new customer leads and contribute to the company sales targets.

The main purpose of a Sales Account Executive role is:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by going above and beyond to address customer needs.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and services to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Service existing accounts and establish new ones by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
  • Proactively generate leads and manage the customer pipeline from initial contact to close.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for revenue and new customer acquisition
  • Adjust sales strategies based on the type of sales outlet and the specific needs of potential customers.
  • Keep management informed through regular submissions of activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
  • Represent the company at trade and consumer shows and conduct site visits, potentially including international travel, to enhance relationships and increase market presence.
  • Utilise strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing clients, constantly seeking opportunities for upsells.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Play a positive and proactive role in promoting and supporting the company’s culture and values.

Sales Account Executive Specification:

  • To have a degree is beneficial
  • Must have a car and a full drivers licence
  • Previous experience in a sales environment will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Proficiency in office software Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Great organisational and time-management skills.
