Sales and Retention Manager - Premium Health & Lifestyle Club in Surrey - £40,000 basic plus bonus

A rare opportunity to head up the sales team working at one of the leading and largest premium family focused health clubs in Surrey providing their members with the finest fitness and sporting facilities, set in acres of land just 30 minutes outside London.

Facilities include pool, state-of-the-art gym, squash courts, playing field, group exercise studios offering over 150 classes a week, including Yoga and Pilates. Restaurant serving nutritious and delicious meals, teas, coffees and snacks throughout the day, with a panoramic view across the grounds.

Key responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced sales manager who can demonstrate great leadership and commercial success who has experience working within a premium and proactive sales environment.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a proven track record of leading sales teams to consistently outperform against targets, have a strong work ethic, be solution orientated, proactive and flexible with first class planning and organisational skills.

You will be working to well established ways of working and a structured approach to meet and exceed KPIs and sales and revenue targets underpinned by exceptional training for you and your team.

You will support the growth of membership through the attraction & retention of members.

Ensure your team are motivated and trained to achieve min standards in terms of leads, appointments and sales with use of the sales dashboard?

To support promotions and marketing campaigns in conjunction with marketing manager and to support with all aspects of the member journey including member onboarding, customer satisfaction, queries and complaints, cancellations and retention?

About you

You will be an experienced Sales Manager with great leadership skills with a genuine passion and interest for sport and leisure.

You will be well presented with a professional and friendly manner with great interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to lead from the front and lead by example

You will be able to work shifts including a minimum of 1 weekend in 4 and occasional bank holidays

As well as leading your team of membership consultants, you will be contributing to the sales team target in conducting tours and signing up new members in addition to your management responsibilities
