Are you a financial advisor looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a financial advisor/planner for our client, a modern, thriving financial advisory practice in Surrey.

Ideally you have Chartered status and minimum 5 years experience with a proven track record in business development and establishing client relationships.

General Duties:• Establish and build strong relationships with clients.• Review qualitative and quantitative analysis of client’s existing products to determine whether they meet the client’s current objectives and priorities.• Understand the client’s views and objectives.• Identify any other needs the client may have i.e. legal advice.• Preparing Financial Plans and Product Recommendations to meet the client’s objectives.• Maintaining records to support any research undertaken and carrying out all tasks in a manner that is consistent with compliance procedures.

Essential Skills:• To be able to strategically analyse available solutions.• Have the ability to communicate technical concepts to clients.• Have the ability to gain a commitment from clients.•The ability to prepare Financial Plans and Product Recommendations.• Stay informed of the latest protection, pension & investment products.• Undertake detailed quantitative and qualitative research on products, identifying where more in-depth analysis and questioning of providers is required.• The ability to present concepts and recommendations using language which can be easily understood by clients.• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact directly with clients and other members of staff at all levels.• Excellent report writing skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.• Effective time management.
