About the Job:

The Trainee Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations. This includes managing payment processes, VAT returns, performing reconciliations, and payroll administration. The role requires maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and providing support to staff on financial matters.

Duties will include:

  • Processing orders, invoices, cheques, income, payroll, and expenses promptly
  • Reconciling invoices against purchase orders, statements, and payments
  • Match company records with bank statements to ensure consistency.
  • Supporting monthly management accounts by ensuring timely invoice processing
  • Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software.
  • Banking cash income as needed
  • Ad-hoc duties
