A key position in the business that has opened up is for a Fire and Security Operations Manager.The Operations Manager ensures smooth day-to-day operations within the Fire & Security (F&S) department. This role requires proactive planning, effective leadership, and collaboration with team members to meet operational goals and maintain high standards.
Site and office based.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Professionalism
- Lead by example, maintaining a consistent presence and fostering respect across the team.
- Address performance issues fairly and promptly.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Operational Oversight
- Act as the first point of contact for management-level inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
- Provide weekly updates to the Managing Director (MD) on performance and key metrics.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and resolve challenges immediately.

Process & Cost Management
- Oversee efficient scheduling and resource allocation for service and installation teams.
- Manage procurement to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Approve overtime and manage stock inventories to align with operational needs.

Reporting & Improvement
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and project progress to optimize performance.
- Regularly review processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed performance and cost reports during weekly meetings with the MD.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in IT systems and tools such as Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work independently, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Committed to continuous improvement and team development.
- Must have strong knowledge and background in Fire and Security systems
