Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide excellent care to patients before, during, and after dental procedures. Ensure patients feel comfortable and well-informed about their treatment.

Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and preparing dental materials.

Infection Control: Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized.

Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans, and manage appointments efficiently.

Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand their treatment and feel at ease. Provide post-operative instructions and answer any questions they may have.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver exceptional service and support the smooth running of the practice.
Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:
- Recognized Dental Nursing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing)
- Current GDC registration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to patient care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety

Desirable:
- Experience with dental software systems
- Experience working in a busy dental practice
- Additional certifications such as radiography or first aid are a plus
