Our Client is seeking a detail-orientated and skilledAutoCAD Technicianto join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and the ability to interpret technical specifications and red line mark-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Revise and update existing drawings as required, ensuring consistency and clarity in documentation.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure precision, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.
- Maintain organised records of all drawings and revisions for future reference.
- Stay up to date with AutoCAD software developments and industry trends to enhance drawing quality and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of engineering drafting principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in drafting within construction, engineering is preferred.
