A Newbury local Primary school is keen to build up the teaching staff, they are looking to invest in their teachers with further development opportunities.

Responsibilities of the Early Career Teacher:

  • Preparing school classroom materials from the UK national curriculum.
  • Analyst of the Newbury student results, reporting to the departmental lead. Providing solutions to enhance and maintain excellent standard results.
  • Reviewing and enforcing safeguarding in all instances, reporting in a sensitive manner to the SEN lead. A tactile manner is essential.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status - QTS, QTLS (with current membership) and PGCE.
  • OTT (Overseas trained teachers) must have UK qualified teacher status.
  • Enthusiastic "can do" attitude, nothing is too much and really keen to engage the West Berkshire students in their learning.
  • Have interest / experience in Special Needs Education - the Newbury school students have a broad range of abilities and needs.
  • A DBS Certificate being carried out - employment subject to the status.
