Are you a Electrical Maintenance Engineer who is Looking for an exciting new opportunity.


A leading manufacturing business based in the area of Berkshire, are looking for grow their maintenance team and are on the look out for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, This role is within the business factory. Offering a salary of up to £50,000, inclusive of shift premium, depending on experience and 12 hour shifts on a Panama pattern (which is 2's and 3's).
Overtime is also available at applicable rates.


As a Electrical Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:.

  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime
  • Working both reactive breakdowns and PPM activities to keep the site running as efficiently as possible.
  • Experience with panel reading drawings, fault finding in panels, control systems, PLC controls, 3 phase and single phase etc
  • Competent with Motor theory.
  • Carries out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery including PLCs
  • Supporting maintenance shutdowns

Suitable Candidates:

  • Electrician to be minimum level 3 NVQ/C&G qualified in electrical maintenance with hands on experience.
  • Minimum 3 years hands on experience If they are HNC/Degree qualified with no apprenticeship.
  • Must be competent with the motor theory, going into panels, reading drawings.
  • Candidates would be considered from the forces / outside UK experience with qualifications NARIC translated to UK equivalent
  • Siemens PLC experience would be a bonus
