Cyber Risk Consultant - Hybrid, UK

Salary £70,000 - £80,000 + excellent benefits

My client is urgently seeking several Cyber Risk Consultants to undertake security risk assessments within an agile software delivery lifecycle framework. Youll work with experts in Secure Architecture and Risk Planning, sharing knowledge and learning continuously. You will work with diverse clients across various sectors, fostering an environment where everyone can reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities:

• Support clients in defining and implementing security risk assessments and best practices.
• Identify security risks and stay updated on vulnerabilities and best practices, especially for cloud infrastructures.
• Help clients make informed decisions to protect their assets and improve their security architecture.
• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager and other teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What you will have:

• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks like ISO27005 and NIST.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure products.
• Excellent reporting skills to clearly communicate vulnerabilities and risks.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and providing practical risk management advice.
• Good knowledge of modern IT technologies and services, such as Cloud Computing, IT Security, and Zero Trust.
• Passion for cyber security and continuous learning.
• Hands-on experience with security systems and network technologies.
• Ability to deliver training and work in large, virtual teams.

To Excel in This Role:

• Be motivated, self-directed, and passionate about cyber security.
• Have experience with secure design principles in the software development lifecycle.
• Understand HMG and NCSC security policies and standards.
