IT Support Technician required to work in Thatcham so as this is a very rural area, you will need to have your own transport.

This opportunity is working Monday to Friday onsite 5 days a week.

Job responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of all of desktops; laptops; tablets; smart devices; Operating Systems and applications, Internet cafés and other client facing areas.
  • Monitor the IT service desk in support of all client's areas.
  • Act as a point of escalation to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, developing new procedures as required and ensure adherence.
  • Provide support for all IT related projects and you will be required to work 1 Saturday in 3 and then 1 in 4 weekends - 9-1pm.

Skills required:

  • 2yrs + Proven Service Desk environment.
  • Typically at least 2 years of technical delivery and support experience, in roles that require involvement and understanding of ITIL based service delivery.
  • Knowledge of: Windows desktop administration; Microsoft Office suite; LAN/WAN maintenance; audio visual solutions and IT security.
  • Familiar with remote assistance using prescribed tools such as; TeamViewer and Teams.
