An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Thatcham as a IT Technician. The main purpose of the role is to enable the employees to be the best they can be. This role will be instrumental in managing, motivating, and development support teams.

As the IT Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the planning, development and execution of approved solutions and services to contribute to the technology direction.
  • Monitor the IT service desk
  • Responsible for desktops, laptops, tablets, smart devices, operating systems and applications.
  • Lead root-cause troubleshooting.
  • Service desk management.
  • Provide support for all IT related projects.

The successful IT Technician will have the following related skills / experience:

  • 2 years of technical delivery and support experience
  • Understand service desk operations.
  • Understanding of ITIL based service delivery,
  • Knowledge of windows desktop administration, Microsoft Office Suite, LAN/WAN maintenance, audio visual solutions, and IT security.
