Our client based in Thatcham is looking to hire an experienced Operations Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

This role is crucial in the daily operations of the company and will include booking temporary staff, overseeing production, checking orders and liaising with clients directly regarding their requirements.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week

Pay:

  • £13.00 per hour

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Supervise the packing line, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and meet our standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Manage the booking and coordination of temporary staff as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Oversee and participate in the pick and pack process, as well as order checking, ensuring that all orders are accurate and meet client expectations.
  • Generate accurate courier and barcode labels to ensure seamless order tracking and shipping.
  • Conduct thorough checks of incoming goods, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand their requirements, manage stock levels, and ensure their satisfaction.

Skills

  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse/production environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
