We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Supervisor to join our friendly team. This role involves assisting with the daily operations of our busy warehouse, supporting the Operations Manager, and stepping in during their absence. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage a variety of tasks and ensure the smooth running of our warehouse.

Day to day of the role:
  • Oversee the picking and packing of goods, ensuring they are handled with care and dispatched in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
  • Assist with product faults and queries and inspecting goods that are faulty and able to solve/repair.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
  • Manage various computer-based systems with proficiency.
  • Perform manual lifting of goods of various sizes and weights.
  • Load and unload vehicles with products.
  • Carry out general warehouse ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Check inbound and outbound goods for accuracy and quality.
  • Use initiative and forward-thinking to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Gain an understanding of the company’s wide-ranging products.
  • Cover for the Operations Manager during their holiday leave.
  • Initiate compliance reports and maintain high standards.
  • Act as a key holder to the premises, ensuring security and safety.
  • Liaise with Sales Representatives regarding supplies and customer queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable.
  • Computer literacy to manage various systems effectively.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and product handling.
  • Ability to manually handle goods safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with team members and external contacts.
  • Initiative and the ability to think ahead to anticipate needs.
  • Responsibility and trustworthiness as a key holder.
