Engineering Manager required by highly successful and market leading manufacturing company based in Berkshire The successful Engineering Manager will provide leadership to the Engineering Team ensuring that products are manufactured cost effectively whilst conforming to industry standards.
Main Duties - Engineering Manager
- Leading and managing the Engineering team. Overseeing the new product introduction process.
- Liaising with internal departments and troubleshooting production issues.
- Overseeing maintenance of the manufacturing facility.
- Continuous improvement of production processes to maximise efficiency.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Assessing training needs and delivering training when required.
- Ensuring that production machinery is calibrated and maintained.
- Developing and maintaining work instructions and documentation.
- Supporting with audits and ensuring compliance to industry regulations.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Engineering Manager
- A background in the Electronics Manufacturing industry with strong working knowledge of all electronics assembly and inspection processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Familiar with Electronics Quality standards such as IPC.
- Previous experience of continuous improvement.
