Are you looking for an Assistant Site manager role? Do you have a passion for the projects that you work on? Do you have a SMSTS, CSCS card and First aid?

Role Overview:

This company/business is seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a freelance basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager in the delivery of projects, ensuring quality completion on time and to the highest of quality.

Duties/Key responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of internal subcontractors.
  • Ensuring plots are ready for key stage NHBC inspections.
  • Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions, checking contractor RAMS, performing site inspections and issuing permits to work.
  • Liaising with the Housing Association's Clerk of Works and the NHBC.
  • Attending contractor review meetings.
  • Updating the Project Manager on progress.
  • Material ordering for the project.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Residential industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Relevant qualification in construction management or related field.
  • CSCS card & SMSTS.
  • Recent workplace references.
