Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Solid Edge to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Modeling: Create 2D and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using Solid Edge.
- Analysis and Simulation: Conduct structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses to ensure designs meet functional and safety requirements.
- Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate designs.
- Documentation: Generate detailed technical drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and design documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless production of designs.
- Innovation: Continuously explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve design efficiency and product performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Solid Edge for CAD design (minimum [X] years of experience).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation tools (preferred).
