Our client, a thriving and fast-paced business in the food and drink sector, is seeking a Technical Manager to join their expanding team. This newly created role is a unique opportunity to drive technical strategy across a dynamic and growing site.

About the Role:
As the Technical Manager, you'll report directly to the Senior Technical Manager and play a critical role in senior leadership discussions.

Responsibilities:

-Overseeing Quality and Technical Teams: Lead and inspire the team to maintain and elevate technical standards across the factory.
-Driving Technical Excellence: Champion continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the site consistently operates at the highest standards.
-Audit Leadership: Take charge of external audits, including BRC and major retailer requirements, ensuring compliance and readiness.
-Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong partnerships with customers and suppliers to support business growth.
-Team Development: Shape the future of the technical team by fostering growth, succession planning, and expanding capabilities.

Requirements:

-Proven Experience: At least 8 years within technical the food and drink industry.
-Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
-Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of retailer requirements and BRC standards.
-Chilled Product Knowledge: Preferred but not essential.
-Adaptability: Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively.

Salary: 65,000-75,000 (Dependent on Experience)
