Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a dynamic Engineering and Production team. This role is pivotal in driving manufacturing efficiency and ensuring processes align with health, safety, and quality standards. Based in Thatcham, you will contribute to the production of innovative vehicle conversions.

As the Manufacturing Process Engineer you will:

  • Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities.
  • Evaluate and improve current production processes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate Work Instructions and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Establish and implement manufacturing methods for new and development vehicles.
  • Conduct and update risk assessments for all manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI), including supplier and process management.
  • Raise and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations across all manufacturing processes.
  • Support deployment and timely execution of project development plans.
  • Attend production meetings and present relevant updates and monthly reports.
  • Visit suppliers and clients as required.
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and process introductions.

To be considered for the Manufacturing Process Engineer role you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology.
  • Proficiency in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and VSM techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards, HSE, and COSHH regulations.
  • Ability to navigate 3D and 2D CAD systems (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
  • Experience in creating process instructions, BOM generation, and MRP systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
