Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our client based in Thatcham. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent position, converting on to a permanent contract after 12 weeks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Operations manager with their purchasing activities and ensuring the smooth operation of their supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:•    Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.•    Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.•    Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure continuous supply.•    Liaise with suppliers.•    Use SAP and Excel to manage and analyse purchasing data.•    Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to purchasing activities.•    Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with company goals.•    Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders and deliveries.•    Responsible for the packaging and product compliance.

Requirements:•    Proven experience in a purchasing administrative role.•    Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with SAP is desirable.•    Strong organisational and time management skills.•    Excellent communication.•    Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.•    Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
