Our client is looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their ever growing residential team.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a significant role in managing costs and budgets throughout the process of the construction project.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record of success
- Excellent knowledge of cost management principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Must have Residential Developer experience
Responsibilities:
- Cost control and reporting
- Contract administration
- Procurement and tendering
- Risk management
- Valuations
- Payments
- Site meetings, project team meetings, subcontractor meetings, surveying meetings as required
- Working closely with contractors, suppliers and clients
- Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorisation for passing payments for all elements of subcontractor works.
- Carry out pre-order meetings including all necessary Health & Safety requirements, finalising a tender sum and agreeing a stage payment schedule for payment purposes before preparing all contract documentation and placing the order
