About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a residential developer, on an exciting project involving the construction of a block of 64 high-end apartments in Berkshire. This project has been underway for 4-5 years and is scheduled for completion in January 2028.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cost planning and control for the project.
  • Prepare and review tender documents and contracts.
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with project teams to monitor progress.
  • Manage and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
