This is an exciting opportunity for an Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a 30m Industrial project under NEC Contract with a leading Main contractor.
About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is an opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Main contractors who have gone from strength to strength over the past 4 years and have recently secured a 30m Industrial Project under NEC. You will be working as the no 1 in a team of 3 commercial managing the upstream process, client side reporting, complex packages from tender through to final accounts. The project will be starting on site beginning of Q2 and runs for approx 18 months, with procurement leading in to this. This is a full time office and site based position.
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:
The company are looking for a candidate who has strong commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing client side reporting, valuations, variation and change control. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team.
- Degree in a construction related subject
- Minimum of 8 years experience with another main contractor
- NEC contract experience desired
