Role: Deputy Lead Social Worker - Mental Health
Location: Thatcham
Salary: 48,000
Eden Brown are working with a private client who are looking to appoint a Deputy Lead Social Worker to work within a Hospital in Thatcham, helping people in their recovery journey to develop new skills and build a brighter future.
As a deputy manager of the team, you will lead and promote adult safeguarding and will empower recovery to encourage service users to engage in their care plans and achieve their goals.
You will be working within a 130 bedded independent hospital which supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services there is also a PICU Mental Health Service. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder, and females and males in a PICU service.
You will be responsible for assessments, CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals, Managers Hearings and will be requested to supervise junior staff members.
To apply for this role, you must have:
- A Social Work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislation
