Purchasing Administrator

£25,000 to £27,000 + Progression + Monday to Friday + Sick Pay

Are you an Administrator or similar with a background in Purchasing, looking for a local permanent Mon-to-Fri position within a friendly team?

Your role will involve ordering vehicles on time to support production, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, and making sure vehicles are inspected and logged correctly. You will handle any discrepancies, assist with vehicle condition reports, and keep records updated for Finance, Sales, and Production. You will also stay informed about vehicle specifications and pricing, manage sub-contractors, negotiate costs, and process purchase orders. Additionally, you will allocate vehicles from sales orders and ensure they are released with the required dates.

THE ROLE:

  • Order vehicles on time to support production and ensure timely deliveries from suppliers.
  • Inspect and log vehicles, handling any discrepancies and assisting with vehicle condition reports.
  • Keep records updated for Finance, Sales, and Production.
  • Stay informed about vehicle specifications and pricing, and manage sub-contractors and purchase orders.
  • Allocate vehicles from sales orders and ensure they are released with the required dates.
