Warehouse Operative (DaysThatcham£11.44Day Shift (10:00-18:00)Gap-personnel are recruiting for day and night shift warehouse operatives in Thatcham.This position is temporary until the New Year, working full-time hours, five shifts from seven, inclusive of one weekend shift per week, and involved picking food orders for distribution to stores across the southern region.About the Warehouse Operative role:
- Picking food products using a voice pick system via a headset
- Breaking down pallets of products and allocating goods to item locations
- Working in a chilled and ambient working environment
- Achieving pick targets as set out by shift management
- Other duties which may include heavy lifting
The successful Warehouse Operative will:
- Have a good attention to detail
- Be reliable and have a positive work ethic
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Be punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- You will ideally have some form of warehouse experience, however this is not essential, as full training will be provided
More about the role:
- Working hours are - Day shift 10:00-18:00
- Day shift pay rates:
- Monday to Friday £11.44
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
- Weekly or monthly pay (you decide)
- Christmas bonus available, giving you the opportunity to earn up to an extra £800 in December
- Immediate start available
- Start dates every Tuesday until early December
- First three shifts are training shifts:
- Day shift training shifts are 10:00-16:00
- Training shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
