Job Title: Warehouse & Operations Specialist

Our client—a dynamic company is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their energetic team. This isn’t your typical warehouse role. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities in an ever-changing environment where no two days are the same.

About the Role:You’ll be working in a multi-faceted position that combines hands-on warehouse operations, administrative duties, and inter-warehouse coordination. Acting as a second party liaison between internal teams and external partners, you’ll ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow. Plus, you’ll be part of a fun team that even includes a friendly warehouse dog!

15 minute walk from Thatcham trainstation!

Hours:

Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:30 (overtime when required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Manage day-to-day tasks including loading, unloading,
    • Picking customer orders as per specification
    • recieivng returned orders and allocating them back into the warehouse
    • Forklift duties - training provided after probation
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Assist with record keeping, scheduling, and internal communications
  • Inter-Warehouse Coordination:
    • Liaise with other warehouse location
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with a small, energetic, and fun team.
    • Contribute to a positive work environment full of collaboration and laughter.
  • Varied Daily Tasks:
    • Embrace a role that is as diverse as it is dynamic, with new challenges every day.

Requirements:

  • Adaptable and proactive approach to work.
  • Must be able to think outside the box and be one step ahead.
  • Must be able to lift and shift as part of daily operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Prior experience in warehouse or events is essential as well as a willingness to learn.
  • A valid UK driving license would be an advantage but not essential
