  • Job Description: The QHSE Manager will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality performance across all aspects of the business. This includes investigating ways to reduce internal and external rejects, monitoring procedures, providing monthly quality figures and recommendations, introducing new audit regimes, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 standards. The ideal candidate will have an FMCG background, ideally in plastic manufacturing, and be flexible in regards to responsibilities.

Days – Mon – Fri

We are working with a company which specialise in FMCG Market, in particular plastic products. Currently looking for an experienced QHSE Manager who has a background in a similar environment, confident leading the company H&S Department. 

The main objectives for this position, are as follows.  To maintain and improve quality performance across all aspects of the business.

This should include: -

  1. To investigate all ways and methods to reduce internal and external rejects.
  2. To monitor existing procedures and where possible implement improvements.
  3. To ensure adherence to our existing or new procedures by using your Managerial authority.
  4. To provide monthly quality figures and recommendations to enable the Management team to judge Quality performance.
  5. To keep cost of quality figures updated for display on the notice boards.
  6. To ensure appropriate audit procedures are maintained and where necessary introduce new audit regimes.
  7. To investigate gauging to check conformity to standards and to implement improvements.
  8. To review all gauges to ensure suitability, accuracy and relevance. 
  9. Maintain compliance to the ISO 9000. Standard and stay abreast of updates within the ISO standard.
  10. To introduce methods along with accountabilities to speed up QA checks whilst maintaining improved quality performances.
  11. Continue to keep and supply packaging information.
  12. To be the main conduit of communication from suppliers to customers and to ensure any quality related issues are addressed in line with Co. procedures.

This position is senior to the company, as such you will be expected to be flexible in regards to responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be from an FMCG background, ideally experienced in Plastic manufacturing.
