Dietician - CAMHS & Eating Disorder Hospital
Salary - £42,000 per annum
Location - Birmingham
Shift Pattern - Monday - Friday 9-5 (some hybrid working)
9 - 12 months fixed term contract
Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for children and adolescence mental health services ( CAMHS ) eating disorder unit. Together we are seeking a Dietician for their outstanding CQC rated, eating disorder hospital, based in Birmingham.
As a dietician, you will be a crucial part in the treatment and recovery of patients with an eating disorder ( anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other disordered eating behaviours )
Requirements
- HCPC registered / degree in nutrition
- Previous experience with CAMHS and Eating Disorders
- Full eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Strong understanding of the nutritional and psychological aspects of eating disorders, including knowledge of refeeding protocols, managing restrictive eating, and supporting weight restoration.
- Ability to provide both one-on-one and group-based nutritional education and support.
- This position is based in the CAMHS Eating Disorder Unit. The role may also require involvement in family-based interventions and community outreach programs. Some travel may be required for home visits or external clinics.
