- Manage financial oversight and reporting for manufacturing projects, including budgets, forecasts, and cost variances.
- Prepare and analyse monthly project performance reports, such as profit and loss, cash flow, and cost-to-complete projections.
- Collaborate with project managers to align financial goals with operational objectives.
- Oversee project-related accounting tasks, including invoicing, payment approvals, and monitoring accounts receivable/payable.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for project accounting.
- Conduct regular reviews of project budgets, identify risks, and recommend financial solutions.
- Complete monthly stock and work-in-progress (WIP) reconciliations.
- Support audits by providing accurate project financial data.
- Continuously improve project accounting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts at the project level.
- Coordinate annual stocktakes.
- Strong experience in cost accounting, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
