Are you a hands-on finance professional seeking a leadership role in an SME? Reporting to the CEO you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day finances of the business.
You will oversee all financial processes, preparation, and distribution of the company’s Statutory Accounts, Monthly Management Accounts, budgets, and forecasts, and you will ensure accurate and timely submissions of VAT, PAYE, and other tax obligations, and oversee payroll. You will lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring best practices.
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar sector.
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a Financial Controller or a similar role in a manufacturing environment. A strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards is essential. You should possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, and exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
