Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site support and maintenance for our products and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of technical assistance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
- Perform regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide training and support to customers on the operation of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site.
- Travel to various locations as required by service demands.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to customers.
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel to client locations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
