I am actively seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Leicestershire. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil and structural teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in large commercial and industrial projects, such as highway design, infrastructure and drainage designs.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

  • A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Civil/ Structural design
  • Chartered membership or working towards a chartership
  • Experienced designer with Tekla/TEDDS/Revit/AutoCAD
  • Quantitative and qualitative experience in building structure

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:

  • Compiling structural engineering design reports
  • Reporting and analysing structural faults and remediation (if required)
  • Experience of scheme and detailed designs
  • Conducting structural surveys of buildings and structures, by offering solutions for any potential issues
  • Responsible for delivering projects effectively by managing client expectations
