Contek are working with a well known Manufacturer of specialist parts and fittings based in Thetford.
My client is looking for an experienced CNC Operatorto join the growing team. If you are looking for a progressive role, and have experience Operating/Loading of CNC Machinery - then you will be considered.
This is a Day shift role - Mon-Thurs: 8:00-4:30, Fri: 8:00-3:30
CNC Operator
Experiences and skills required.
- Ideally have experience Operating/Loading of CNC Machinery including Mills and/or lathes.
- Experienced with operating machinery, with some setting experience.
- Strong Computer skills
- Competent in self-inspection.
- Able to interpret and work to engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Datum system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sub-contract environment.
- Mazatrol experience would be beneficial
Role
- Operate and Loading ofCNC Mills.
- Working on 3 axis Milling machines.
- Producing parts to engineering drawings.
- Communicate effectively and aid other when necessary in the setting up process.
- Permanent position available.
- Lots of overtime available
- Hourly Rate dependent on skill level.
