Cnc Operator

Contek are working with a well known Manufacturer of specialist parts and fittings based in Thetford.

My client is looking for an experienced CNC Miller and CNC Operatorto join the growing team withMazatrolexperience or similar transferrable systems.

CNC Miller - 17-20p/h

CNC Operator - 13-15p/h

This is a Day shift role - Mon-Thurs: 8:00-4:30, Fri: 8:00-3:30

CNC MillerProgrammer, Setter Operator

Experiences and skills required.

• Ideally apprenticed trained and from a time served engineering background.
• Strong experience programming, setting and operatingmachines.
• Strong Computer skills
• Competent in self-inspection.
• Able to interpret and work to engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Datum system
• Ability to work in a fast-paced sub-contract environment.

- Mazatrol experience would be beneficial

Role

• Programme, Set and run CNC Mills.
• Working on 3 axis Milling machines.
• Produce programmes and parts to drawing and at commercially viable cycle times.
• Communicate effectively and aid other when necessary in the setting up process.
• Review new sub contract enquiries to produce accurate cycle times and tooling requirements for the sales team.
• Permanent position available.
• Lots of overtime available
• Hourly Rate dependent on skill level.
