Project ManagerBased on the outskirts of Watton£50,000 per annum Our client, a well established company in the Watton Area, are currently expanding their Project department, and we are keen to assist them on this; We are looking for someone with previous experience within project management that is keen for a new challenge. Duties & Responsibilities: Project Manager Duties:
  • Overall responsibility for managing and delivering assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products
  • Ensuring project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
  • Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, and Production
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress to stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Managing client expectations and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Handling project-related change management, documentation, and compliance with industry standards
  • Ensuring quality control, inspection, and certification management are properly implemented
  • Working closely with sub-vendors, Engineers, Project Buyers, and Shop Floor Supervisors to resolve technical and commercial issues
  • Attending on/off-site client meetings as required
Required:
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Expertise in project management of the whole life cycle of projects from order to final delivery
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
Comfortable with the following tasks:
  • Project plan creation, maintenance, and management (project milestones, critical path identification, and ownership)
  • Clarification, Change, Risk, and Documentation management
  • Project procurement management/involvement
  • Reporting on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders
  • Cost control and management
  • Inspection and certification management
  • With the assistance of the Engineering team, ensuring that all designs meet the project requirements
