Job: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor! As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Commercial team on a variety of projects from Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Defence between 5m - 30m.
Duties will include:
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
- Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
- Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
- Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
To be considered for the role, they would like:
- Proven experience as the SQS / Commercial lead working with a regional / national contractor
- A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
- A good knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Strong mathematical and IT ability
- Negotiating and networking skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Good team working skills
