General Farm Workers
Location: Feltwell, Norfolk
Salary: Dependent on experience
Our client is a well-established, successful and respected family-owned farming business with sites across the UK. They are the largest grower and distributor of turf in the UK and also run a successful arable enterprise as well as growing sedum and wildflower mat products.
The Role
They have a number of exciting opportunities at their Feltwell (Norfolk) farm and are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals with a passion for working outdoors. Their small teams are multi-skilled – and able to perform manual work with the same energy and enthusiasm they apply to tractor work.
Whilst prior agricultural or horticultural experience is desirable for both roles, it is not essential.
Production Operatives:
They are recruiting for a tractor driver to work in the production of their mat products.
- Prior agricultural experience and tractor driving skills are essential in this role
- Candidates will also be required to perform regular outdoor manual and irrigation work as well: Irrigation work, Land preparation, Assist with all aspects of production – manual and mechanical & Site maintenance when required.
- PA1 and PA2 qualifications desirable.
- Driving license essential.
Arable Operatives:
They are seeking an Arable Operator for a respected and well-equipped arable business; they farm 1,100 hectares on the Feltwell Fen.
The role will include a mix of all arable operations including a significant potato operation. Current arable cropping includes cereals, beet, cover crops and potatoes. The farm is very well equipped with modern machinery.
- Previous experience as an arable operator would be essential.
- Forklift license and PA1 & 2 qualifications are desirable.
- Driving license essential.
