Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience and ensure they thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to a designated student, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist with classroom activities and help maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Monitor and record the student's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support the student in developing social skills and building confidence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
